Hi! I’m Veronique Morin, Senior Account Executive at KPI Digital. I started my career at NielsenIQ, where I spent 13 years working in advanced analytics and most recently served as Sales Director. When I was ready for a new challenge, our VP of HR, Dimitra, reached out on LinkedIn at just the right moment. Joining KPI truly felt meant to be.
At KPI, I work with North American organizations to turn data, analytics, and AI into real business value. My role is all about connecting business challenges with high-impact, practical solutions, helping leaders cut inefficiencies, make smarter decisions, and drive growth.
Outside of work, I’m known for my “passions éphémères,” short-lived hobbies I dive into wholeheartedly before moving on to the next. During the pandemic, it was perfecting sourdough and pizza dough. Lately, my husband and I have been focused on designing and building our dream lake house, where my background in interior design has come in handy. No matter the passing hobby, though, cooking and hosting remain my constants. Our home is always full of people, food, and wine.
What’s a project you’ve worked on that you’re especially proud of, and why?
We partnered with a manufacturer that had no visibility into operational productivity and suspected major inefficiencies. We built a real-time dashboard to track production performance and are now layering in machine availability data with job orders to recommend optimal production sequences, which will reduce idle time and costly changeovers. For a company whose edge is just-in-time delivery, the ROI has been outstanding. Helping organizations unlock this kind of tangible value is something I’m very proud of.
What do you enjoy most about working in data, AI, or digital transformation?
In my role, boredom doesn’t exist. Every client brings unique objectives and challenges, and because our solutions are always tailored, no two projects are alike. Pair that variety with the ability to deliver concrete, measurable impact for our clients, and it’s impossible not to love this work.
Share the aspects of your job or the industry that keep you passionate.
I am very passionate about productivity. I constantly look for ways to do things better because time, energy, and human creativity are too valuable to waste. Helping clients cut out low-value tasks so they can focus on the things that actually move the needle is incredibly rewarding.
Where do you see the biggest opportunities for innovation in the next few years?
AI adoption is growing, but much of it still centers on tools like text analytics or marketing automation. I think the big opportunity lies in AI-driven recommendation and decision-making systems. Humans can only juggle so many factors at once, but business decisions today involve dozens (sometimes hundreds) of variables. Without technology, we’re too slow and too limited. This is where AI will deliver the greatest value: helping leaders make smarter, faster decisions. I also think this kind of innovation will play a role in tackling bigger issues like climate change.
What advice would you give to someone just starting out in the world of AI or data consulting?
Be endlessly curious, and keep asking questions. We don’t “do AI” just for the sake of it; it’s always about solving real problems. The more you understand the problem, the better the solution you bring forward will be. And don’t feel like you need to know everything yourself. Surround yourself with people whose strengths complement yours, and learn from them.
If you could swap roles with anyone at KPI Digital for a day, who would it be and why?
It would have to be our president, Benny Cohen. Not so much for the role itself, but for his mind. Having 30+ years of experience in data, analytics, and AI downloaded into my brain for a day would be incredible. His passion and vision are contagious.
If you weren’t working in this field, what career path do you think you’d have followed instead?
I would’ve been an architect. Great architecture inspires me; the way a well-designed home or building can elevate everyday life is fascinating. Architects create spaces that serve human well-being and fit seamlessly into their environment. I see parallels with what we do at KPI Digital: creating solutions that make work easier, more productive, and fit naturally into an organization’s ecosystem. At the heart of both is creating real and lasting impact.
What’s one tool, platform, or app you couldn’t get through the day without?
AI chatbots. I know that sounds cliché, but they’ve become part of my daily routine. ChatGPT even helped me fix a faucet that a handyman couldn’t, saving me hundreds of dollars. Once you see the value of these tools, it’s hard to imagine life without them.
