Toutefois, l&rsquo;augmentation du co\u00fbt de l&rsquo;\u00e9nergie et les perturbations des cha\u00eenes d&rsquo;approvisionnement mondiales observ\u00e9es ces derni\u00e8res ann\u00e9e sont \u00e9t\u00e9 particuli\u00e8rement \u00e9prouvantes pour de nombreux fabricants canadiens et am\u00e9ricains.<\/p>\n<p>L&rsquo;\u00e9pid\u00e9mie de COVID a \u00e9galementjou\u00e9 un r\u00f4lecl\u00e9. Rienqu&rsquo;en 2020, l&rsquo;industrie manufacturi\u00e8re canadienne a perdu plus de 10 % de sa main-d&rsquo;\u0153uvre en raison de la pand\u00e9mie de COVID-19 <sup>1<\/sup>.<\/p>\n<p>En outre, le secteur manufacturier canadien est responsable d&rsquo;une fraction disproportionn\u00e9e des \u00e9missions de gaz \u00e0 effet de serre du pays, ce qui en fait un contributeur important au changement climatique<sup>2<\/sup>. Pour rester comp\u00e9titives, les industries manufacturi\u00e8res canadiennes et am\u00e9ricaines doivent adopter la transformation num\u00e9rique et la durabilit\u00e9. Pour ce faire, elles devront am\u00e9liorer leur capacit\u00e9 \u00e0 exploiter les donn\u00e9es et l&rsquo;analytique.<\/p>\n<p>L&rsquo;industrie manufacturi\u00e8re canadienne a tard\u00e9 \u00e0 adopter les technologies de transformation num\u00e9rique. \u00c0 peine 16 % des fabricants d\u00e9clarent un niveau\u00e9 lev\u00e9 d&rsquo;adoption des technologies de l&rsquo;industrie 4.0<sup> 3<\/sup>. Avec seulementune fraction des fabricants canadienstirant parti de la transformation num\u00e9rique, la productivit\u00e9 de l&rsquo;industrie manufacturi\u00e8re canadienne est en d\u00e9clin. \u00c0 l&rsquo;heure actuelle, le Canada se classe au 19e rang sur 34 pays pour ce qui est de la croissance de la productivit\u00e9<sup> 4<\/sup>.<\/p>\n<p>Mais ce la signifie que la majeure partie de l&rsquo;industrie a \u00e9norm\u00e9ment \u00e0 gagner, tant enter mes d&rsquo;avantage concurrentiel que de rentabilit\u00e9 brute. En planifiant la transformation num\u00e9rique de leurs processus et de leurs produits, ainsi qu&rsquo;ens&rsquo;associant avec les entreprises qui peuvent les aider \u00e0 tirer v\u00e9ritablement parti de la puissance de la transformation, le progr\u00e8sest \u00e0 port\u00e9e de main.<\/p>\n<p>Je ne parle pas non plus d&rsquo;un investissement na\u00eff et risqu\u00e9 dans une tendance incertaine, mais de l&rsquo;adoptiond&rsquo;une m\u00e9thodologie \u00e9prouv\u00e9e et bien ma\u00eetris\u00e9e afin de devenir un moteur essentiel de la reprise \u00e9conomique en Am\u00e9rique du Nord.<\/p>\n<p>L&rsquo;une des raisons ayant retard\u00e9 l&rsquo;adoption de ces m\u00e9thodologies par les fabricants canadiens est la fa\u00e7on dontils se per\u00e7oivent eux-m\u00eames. Beaucoup trop d&rsquo;entreeux ne se d\u00e9finissent pas comme des \u00ab\u00a0fabricants avanc\u00e9s\u00a0\u00bb ou des \u00ab\u00a0adopteurs pr\u00e9coces\u00a0\u00bb, cequi limite leur capacit\u00e9 \u00e0 rivaliser avec des organisations plus grandes ou bas\u00e9es dans des territoires traditionnellement \u00ab\u00a0avanc\u00e9s\u00a0\u00bb. N\u00e9anmoins, ils sont constamment sous-\u00e9valu\u00e9s.<\/p>\n<p>Les m\u00e9thodologies traditionnelles d&rsquo;AQ et de CQ sont coh\u00e9rentes et fiables, mais aussi lentes \u00e0 s&rsquo;adapter aux changements rapides des march\u00e9s actuels. La technologie, la demande et les attentes des clients \u00e9voluent d\u00e9sormais \u00e0 la minute, et non \u00e0 l&rsquo;ann\u00e9e.
